Our hospitals need your help as we experience sustained pressure on our services. Our ED is extremely busy and we have high numbers of patients staying in hospital after they are medically safe to go home. This stops patients in our EDs getting the bed they need on our wards.

Please also only use our EDs in an emergency and carefully consider other services available. These include: •NHS 111 online or by phone. •Local pharmacies. •Urgent Treatment Centres. •Your GP (including out-of-hours services).
