MAINTENANCE ALERT: Beginning Tuesday, July 7, the outside, eastbound lane on I-20 will be CLOSED from SH 155 to US 271 in Smith County. This will be a 24-hr closure. The closure is scheduled to last until Tuesday, July 14. Plan ahead, watch your speed, and pay attention.

New signs any one? If you are on I-20, you may notice some new signs celebrating America's 250th birthday and the 70th anniversary of our nation's interstate system! These are located near eastbound SH 16 in Van Zandt Co. and between mile marker 579 and 580 in Gregg Co.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Eastbound I-20 at Mile Marker 590 (just past SH 31) is CLOSED due to a crash. Detour: traffic will exit at Post Oak Rd to SH 31 North to Longview or South to Kilgore. North bound SH 31 out of Kilgore to I-20 on ramps will be closed also.   Estimated time to clear and reopen is 6 pm.
