The restored Titanic Memorial Lighthouse was unveiled by the South Street Seaport Museum landlords without fanfare, remembrances or descendants. Diminished now from a National Memorial to simple museum way-pointing, not a marker for the 1,496 (unrecorded) victims lost at sea.
