No matter how much effort goes into preparing a game launch, it always feels as though we could have done more, leaving us both excited and anxious. As both developers and gamers ourselves, we believe that a live service game is, in some ways, similar to a service business. Just as you may not want to use a device again if it keeps breaking after repair, or if the service experience is unsatisfactory, the same applies to live service games. We promise to do our very best so that you can enjoy Star Sailors for what it is, without experiencing such inconveniences. In this Developer's Note, we would like to briefly share updates on optimization and news about the PC build.

[Graphics Improvements for the PC Build] "Through the many posts on our official Discord, we have clearly seen how many Adventurers were looking forward to playing Star Sailors on PC at the global launch. We are truly sorry that we were not able to prepare the PC build in time to release it together. We are continuing to work on the PC build, and we are also researching graphics technologies that will allow us to deliver higher-quality visuals on PC. Some of these improvements, including enhanced character outlines, have already been applied to the mobile build as well. To help make the wait feel a little shorter, we would like to share a preview of the volume lighting and shadow improvements currently in development. * All screenshots below show content currently in development and do not represent the final quality of the PC build.
