In 17 days, Cody Harper will stand before a judge, and his life could change forever. I believe this case is incredibly unfair. If he is sent to prison, the entire justice system will come under public scrutiny like never before. He was attacked by three men. In my view, while clearly disorientated, he struck out at a police officer. The police then asked the public not to share these videos. But Cody's story need to be told. To me, Cody Harper was the victim, not the criminal. The country will be watching on 23rd July.

This morning I finally became a member of the Free Speech Union, @SpeechUnion. With every passing week, it feels like freedom of expression in Britain is being chipped away. Whether you agree with someone or not, the right to speak freely is worth defending. If we don't stand up for free speech now, we may not realise what we've lost until it's gone.

Back in the 1970s, most Black people in the UK saw the police as a hostile oppressive power. Now, as a white man in the 2020s, I too see the police as a hostile oppressive power. They see me as THE PROBLEM, because of the colour of my skin. They've been ideologically BRAINWASHED.

I also think Labour will try to ban X within the next 6–12 months, dressing it up as a fight against “extremism” or “harmful content.” Why? Poor boy. All he kept saying was he wanted to go home.. The Police's actions were disgraceful.

The rest of us have concerns and are not at all satisfied. The Birmingham Police can't stop people all over the world from sharing the video of their shameful behavior.

Justice for Cody Harper the 20 years old who was attacked by 3 men and arrested is now due in court. He was taken to Perry Barr police station and left in the cells until the following day. The police told him he wouldn't be charged for the fight the one where he was attacked) but he will be charged with assaulting an emergency worker. He will be at Birmingham magistrates court on the 23rd July.

I will be praying that Cody Harper will be released without charge. I will also pray that the "police officers" who treated him so shamefully will be disciplined, and that the gang who assaulted him will be apprehended & charged.

How often have the British police done something like this and we don’t know about it because it didn’t happen to get caught on camera? How many more examples do we need that they will just blatantly lie?

I can’t let this go unchallenged. That young man was, in my opinion and based on the video below, the clear victim of an assault. The video shows, for reasons that are entirely beyond my comprehension, the officer steaming directly into the victim. The officer made no effort to prevent the attack or apprehend the men who had just administered the violence. What I see in the video is the officer using speed and aggression at the moment of peak danger and confusion against the victim. The victim then controls himself the moment he realises it is now a police officer attacking him and not one of the multiple men who were attacking him a fraction of a second earlier. In my opinion Birmingham Police should drop the charges against this young man and ask the officer why she went for the victim on the ground and not the attackers!
