We're thrilled to announce that we have raised $234M in the first close of our $300M Series B at a $1.5B valuation. @HCLTech and @BessemerVP have joined us in this round, alongside continued support from @khoslaventures and @peakxvpartners For countries and companies, sovereign control on the AI stack is no longer an optionality. Sarvam will be the partner of choice for this aspiration. The capital allows us to accelerate our momentum towards this full stack of models, compute, and deployments. A huge thank you to our customers, partners, investors, and the Sarvam team for your trust and belief in what we are building. We’re just getting started. Read more: sarvam.ai/announcing-series-…

Today, we’re introducing the Sarvam MCP Server. It gives coding agents a standard way to discover and build with Sarvam. All you need to is a add a single configuration, and Sarvam becomes available directly in your coding agent. It already knows the right models and tools, so you can build with them and ship faster. Create a key, copy the config, start building - dashboard.sarvam.ai/mcp

Kisan Samman, a voice-first AI agent that helps farmers discover government schemes, check eligibility, and get application guidance in their own language in under 30 seconds, built using Sarvam's Speech to Text and Text to Speech models. Built by: @vishalsingh2972 x.com/vishalsingh2972/status…
Building AI for 🇮🇳: Build an AI Agent that helps farmers find, apply to government schemes in under 30 seconds. Indian government spends ₹1.8 lakh crore every year on farmer welfare. Yet millions of eligible farmers still miss out on benefits. Not because schemes don't exist. Not because funds aren't allocated. But because finding the right scheme is often harder than farming itself. Farmers face: • Lack of awareness about available schemes • Complex government portals • Language barriers • Confusing eligibility requirements • No clear guidance on how to apply So, over the weekend, I built Kisan Samman, a Voice-First AI Agent that helps farmers discover and access government schemes in seconds. A farmer simply speaks in their own language: 🎙️ "क्या मेरे राज्य में ड्रिप सिंचाई के लिए कोई सब्सिडी है?" Kisan Samman automatically: ✅ Finds relevant government schemes ✅ Checks eligibility using the farmer's profile ✅ Retrieves the official application portal ✅ Locates the nearest Common Service Centre ✅ Explains everything back in the farmer's language using voice ✅ question → eligibility → application all guidance in under 30 seconds. 🧠 Tech Stack: • Grok Llama 3 70B • LangChain • Sarvam AI (ASR TTS) • Flask Python • Leaflet.js OpenStreetMap Goal of this project: Make government welfare schemes as accessible as a conversation. Sarvam joined the AI discussions at the 52nd G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains, France. @vivekrag participated alongside G7 leaders and chief executives from some of the world’s leading AI companies. The discussion centered on frontier AI risks, infrastructure, and sovereignty in the age of AI. A significant moment for Sarvam and for India’s AI ecosystem.

Ok, so here is my take on the Fable ban, sovereign AI, Sarvam, etc. The event is interesting as it has implications from many perspectives. For AI users, it is clear that you should not confuse access with ownership, or adoption itself as advantage. And if the most significant tech differentiator you are leveraging has external control loops, then you have to accept you are vulnerable. For AI talent, it is now a precedent that you would be *seen* aligning to national interests more than company interests. And even if its just a whim for now, this trend will be hard to reverse as the world gets more automated… For AI labs, their offerings will be stratified - general purpose AI would be available as utility, but frontier AI would be gated. This is a fantastic business model for labs - *democratized* AI sucks in all the data liquidity of the world which is locked in higher margin frontier offerings. I think for the world to be a better place, all three of the above are bad vectors. We need to have more countries and companies owning their own destinies. And in the post AI world, that means being able to use and improve AI systems within their own perimeters - what one may call Sovereign AI. At Sarvam, Sovereign AI in India was the founding thesis a couple of years back, and continues to remain the core operating principle. From our vantage point, it is super clear that India will build, leverage, and create massive business value and societal impact with sovereign AI. The following is precisely how we at Sarvam are contributing to make that happen.

We're hosting a webinar with @HealthPlix, India's largest AI-powered Electronic Medical Record, on how they built HALO using Sarvam's Speech to Text model to turn doctor consultations into medical records. Sehaj Virk (Head of Model APIs, Sarvam) and Chaitanya Raju (CPO, HealthPlix) go behind the scenes on how Sarvam's speech recognition powers HALO across languages, specialties, and the demands of an active OPD. Date: Wednesday, June 10 Time: 5:00 PM IST Register here: links.sarvam.io/Healthplix_W…

Doctors in India still spend valuable time creating medical records manually. HealthPlix built HALO to change that. HALO is built for how Indian doctors actually speak, across dialects, code-switching, clinical terminology, and Indian brand-name medications. Here's what that looks like at scale: • 97% prescription accuracy • 5 mins returned to patient care per consultation • 50,000 consultations completed on HALO Read the full case study: links.sarvam.io/Healthplix_C…

150 researchers from OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Meta, Mistral, Stripe, and more - all in one room for the @SarvamAI story. Last Thursday, we hosted 𝘈𝘯 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘚𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘮 𝘈𝘐 in San Francisco. @pratykumar joined @MohapatraHemant and @dkhare for a conversation on building sovereign AI out of India, scaling compute, and expanding into the Bay Area to work alongside the people doing this at frontier scale. Grateful to everyone who showed up and made the conversation worth having, see you at the next one! @abhabhakoo @JainAnuvrat @ishaanpreet @PriyalMotw89880 @ravirajjain @BaggaRohil @SeekingN0rth @sidsangwan

Earlier this February, we launched Sarvam Vision, a vision-language model for document intelligence. Today, more than 35 million pages are being digitised through the Sarvam Vision API by developers and partners. Since launch, we've made it significantly more efficient to serve at scale. We’re now passing these gains on by reducing the Sarvam Vision API price from ₹1.5 to ₹0.5 per page.

As adoption grew, we began serving users with considerably higher document volumes. So we reworked parts of our serving stack - optimized inference kernels for state-space architecture, smarter page-level batching, better hardware utilization across our sovereign cloud. The result is a model that runs far more efficiently at scale. We’re passing these gains directly to our users through this price drop.
