Honored to stand alongside @VP aboard USS Kearsarge as we witnessed the International Aerial Review on our nation’s Independence Day. America’s @USNavy-@USMC team, alongside the rest of our Joint Force, is the world’s most capable and lethal fighting force. Together with our friends around the globe, we preserve freedom, deter aggression, and stand ready to fight and win wherever and whenever called.

The U.S. Navy just hit its recruiting goal of 45,000 Sailors – 3 months ahead of schedule. Even more impressive: they raised their goal by 10% and still exceeded expectations. This is what happens when strong leadership under President Trump, high standards, a return to perfecting the basics, and a mission that matters come together. Americans are stepping up to serve because they believe in our country, our Navy, and our warfighters. Congratulations @USNavy and every recruiter, leader, and future Sailor who made this possible!
