tmnt: the last ronin ✅ “all i know is this has been a long time coming, and all you need to know is i’m the one who’s gonna finish it” thoroughly enjoyable little comic. i used to love tmnt as a kid, so this felt like a blast from the past with a dark twist. the revenge driven story was a really good plot, emotional highs, good action with some really powerful character moments. the art was great and really elevated every fight nailing the gritty atmosphere throughout the comic. i’ll definitely be picking this up, deserves a spot in my collection

second coming of death arc (ch850-855) ✅ #hajimenoippo "slip" the return of the reaper. mashiba is easily one of my favourite characters at this point in the story, he's got such a captivating presence every time he shows up im just wandering what's about to happen. also ippo gotta step his game up ng!, kumi's been waiting years for bro to make a move and we've still got nothing from him. short and fun arc overall

need myself a WHAT IF? one piece series in my life, imagine ace joined the marines or the strawhats never met. feel like it has endless potential and would be really fun to watch

absolute batman (caught up) ✅ this had me hooked from the get go, such a tantalizingly juicy read. i only really know batman from the few movies i've watched, so seeing a much more raw and unpredictable side of the character was really fun to experience. the fights go crazy especially during the abomination arc with bane were awesome. the art is ridiculously stunning. will be keeping up with this for sure

reading csm part 2 weekly really hindered my enjoyment and appreciation for the series. i’ll definitely go back and binge it all one day, i feel like i could look at part 2 in a completely different light

inter high preparation arc (ch 35-70) ✅ as far as training arcs go, this is one of the most intense i’ve read. i was getting goosebumps throughout the whole thing some moments had my heart beating out of my chest. the cast is incredible too, every character feels unique and interesting. i’m already emotionally attached to the team. the next arc has been set up perfectly, can’t wait to dive into it
