Leader @KamRai7 has shared an update on the fire at Memorial Heights, Newbury Park. The situation is now under control and emergency services remain on site. Residents have been supported, with temporary accommodation arranged where needed.

🚨Update Damage to the building and columns so evacuation required, we have stood up a rest centre, including transport, and housing services will support residents. A Dangerous Structure Engineer has been deployed for an assessment. Thank you @LondonFire @MPSRedbridge
