No other city in the world would be able to function after receiving the kind of rainfall Mumbai has recieved over the last few days. The fact that offices are open, stock market running, airport operating and people still making it to meetings etc is a true testament to the incredible spirit of our great city. Salute to Mumbai and to all those who love and live in our great city.

Never seen so many empty seats at @Wimbledon that too on a Sunday! Looks like the high prices are keeping people away! Prices are beyond all comprehension this year at the Wimbledon.

Heartiest congratulations to Shri @sajjanjindal Garu and the entire @jswsteel team on the restart of the steel plant project in Kadapa. This is a significant milestone for the industrial development of Rayalaseema and a moment of hope for the youth and families aspiring for employment and economic growth. It is important to remember that such landmark projects are built on years of committed groundwork. During our government, we finalized JSW as the project developer and laid the critical foundations necessary for the project to take shape. Environmental clearances were facilitated, water allocation was secured, land was allocated, road connectivity and the required land for supporting infrastructure were provided, and all key approvals were pursued to enable the project to move forward. With these foundations in place, work on the project progressed at a brisk pace during our tenure. Unfortunately, over the past two years, the project came to a grinding halt, resulting in further delays to this long-awaited investment. It is therefore encouraging to see work finally restarting. The people of Kadapa have waited long enough, and they deserve to see this important project completed without any further delay. As my home district, Kadapa holds a special place in my heart, and I have always believed its youth deserve greater opportunities through industrial growth and sustainable employment. Development is a continuous process that transcends political boundaries. Every government has a responsibility to build on the work already done and take projects to completion in the larger interest of the people. I sincerely wish JSW every success in expediting the project and ensuring that the people of Kadapa and the entire Rayalaseema region reap the benefits through employment, industrial growth, and inclusive development.

Throwback to the 2023-24 season, when we had the privilege of training at the Neville D'Souza Ground during our time in Mumbai. Over the years, this ground has been home to countless players, teams, and stories, playing an important role in the city's football ecosystem. We hope it continues to remain a space where generations of footballers can learn, grow, and fall in love with the game. ๐Ÿงก

Very proud of the team @jswsteel USA for commissioning the largest Vaccum Tank Degasser and the most modern slab caster capable of making 12 inch slabs in North America - over three years in the making and a $165Mn later JSW USA will now no longer need to purchase any slabs from Brazil or any other country and will be able to serve the requirements of our customers in North America both in Mingo Junction and Baytown through 100% domestically melted and manufactured steel. The steel mill in Mingo Junction was a shuttered steel factory that was revived by JSW in 2019 and now is one of the most modern slab making facilities in North America - further our plate and pipe mill in Baytown Texas too is undergoing major modernisation worth $110Mn and will be commissioned by 1st October 2026 - total investment by JSW in both facilities exceeds $500mn this has all been possible due to the policies of @realDonaldTrump administration. @JDVance @GovAbbottPress - proud that JSW is now one of the largest Indian investors in the US.

Congratulations to @eastbengal_fc for being crowned @IndSuperLeague champions for the shortened 2025/2026 season - very well deserved. Feel incredibly happy that one of Indiaโ€™s historic clubs that has gone through so much has won the league after 22 years.

Nice to give our Delhi a win after almost a month at home! Well played @DelhiCapitals fantastic to see Madhav, and Porel take their chances and give a fantastic account of themselves - the experience of Ashu, Axar, KL, Starc and Ngidi was outstanding. Qila Kotla is very important for us and to see our fans smile makes this win more special. See you next season Dilli

A very good way to end the season - proud of the way @bengalurufc has played this season especially the youngsters - going into the season with only two foreign players I knew it was a chance to see our young players who have been making waves in the junior circuit take the big leap. The gap between us and the team that wins the ISL wonโ€™t be much and i am sure that BFC and our young players are looking forward to next season already. Onus now on the AIFF to make sure there is a viable way forward for clubs and for Indian football. Needless to say the talent is there and the intent from the clubs is there but all of us clubs need to make sure we are building towards a viable future and for that the AIFF has to understand our view point and build a future keeping the players, the fans, the clubs and most importantly the national team in mind. Financial viability crucial for a long term stable ecosystem to be created.
