A few years ago A last lesson from my Dog His trachea collapsed. The vet is a half hour away. They took him in the back room to assess the situation then brought him into a private room so I could be with him. Those 10 minutes felt like forever and nothing. I finally said… 🧵

The cure to depression is spending a week in a 3rd world country. Once you stop criticizing the world for not living up to some impossible ideal and instead start appreciating that you have running water and a weekly trash pick up, your entire model of reality changes.

Watching the World Cup because the USA is going to win it all and I have some questions What do they do when someone actually gets hurt? Do they have a code word so people know that this one time out of hundreds that they’re rolling around on the ground “in pain” is real?

5:45 this morning I encountered a man who was irate that I was working so early, as he shook while yelling at me he began to call me a nazi and started mumbling something about nuremberg trials under his breath as he stomped away I just smiled and told him to Have a great day
