45 years ago today Terry Fox started his Marathon of Hope in St. John's, Newfoundland on April 12th, 1980. I stopped by the exact locations to tell his story. Over the next few months I'll be heading out on the road to follow his journey and report on the same dates he was in those locations. The President of the United States is going out of his way to help a birthright citizen keep working in the United States. Thanks a lot, commie.
Breaking News: President Trump called the head of FIFA days before the suspension of Folarin Balogun, the U.S.’s top goal scorer in the World Cup, was reversed. nyti.ms/3RnKLVj

Trump is the most socialist president in American history, and combined with his nationalist, autocratic tendencies and policies, it makes him a National Socialist in a way that isn’t manipulative or ironic at all, as it was used in the 30's.
Very excited to watch the guy who's taken significant and unprecedented US government equity stakes in 20-plus private companies (so far) pretend for the next 4 months that he's the last great bulwark against creeping American communism x.com/i/status/2069815306705…

Canada and Brazil were eliminated in the same round at the World Cup. Let that sink in.

0 - Since the introduction of yellow and red cards at the 1970 edition, no player has ever received a red card and gone on to play in his team's next match at the FIFA World Cup. Unprecedented.

The irony of Trump calling FIFA to overturn a red card for Balogun because he knows the U.S. can’t win without Balogun, who only qualifies for the U.S. team because of birthright citizenship, which Trump just tried to overturn.
Pretty hilarious to be seeing this anti-birthright citizenship rage as we watch Flo Balogun rocket the US team through this World Cup.

I really like Norway. Except the $24 beers and $9 bottles of pop - but a great and beautiful place with a sick soccer team.

Talk about ruining it for the US - if they win the world points to this cheating. So gross.

lol. This is great. But like what's the point of rules at this juncture?
Breaking: Folarin Balogun will be available to play in USA's Round of 16 match against Belgium on Monday, FIFA announced. The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has suspended the red card issued to the USA striker during their Round of 32 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

What’s with these incel accounts? Imagine what their moms would think if they were shown their phones. Sad when you think of it.

So… FIFA conveniently finds an unused, obscure rule to allow the American to play. Sounds like a Peace Prize.
Folarin Balogun was set to miss America’s round-of-16 clash after receiving a controversial red card. But soccer’s governing body stepped in with an arcane rule to let him play against Belgium. on.wsj.com/4goaDKT
