The safest way to enjoy fireworks is by leaving them to the professionals. Join us for public firework displays in North Beach or South Beach at the events listed below. Please note that personal fireworks are not allowed at any of our events. As a reminder, sea turtle nesting season runs now through October 31. During this time, fireworks without a city permit, bonfires and unauthorized vehicles on the beach are strictly prohibited. Protect your pets from extreme heat this summer. 🐾 Keep your pet hydrated 🐾 Know signs of overheating 🐾 Never leave pets in cars 🐾 Keep paws away from hot pavement The asphalt can get nearly twice as hot as the air outside. If it’s too hot for your bare feet, then it’s too hot for your pet’s paws.

At Miami Beach Fire Department, we pride ourselves on our firefighter-paramedics. Our rescue units are more than medical transport vehicles. They are staffed by firefighters trained to provide advanced life support, respond to emergencies in hazardous environments and rescue victims when needed. Take a look inside one of our rescue units and see some of the equipment our crews use every day to serve our community.
