Tanner Horner abducted and took the life of Athena Strand while delivering a Barbie doll to her home in North Texas. In a released footage, Horner can be heard complaining to police that he’ll never get to watch his son grow up if he’s sent to prison. Horner was heard claiming that a voice in his head, which he called “Zero,” made him take Athena’s life. “I'm going to miss out on all my son's Christmases, his birthdays, and growing up. I'm going to miss out on everything,” Horner said. “All because I listened to some voice that isn't probably even there.”
