Nobody can say my clients for photoshoots are not many and varied. I was commissioned recently to photograph Father Paschal at St Mary’s Church in Somers Town, London. An absolute pleasure to meet him and we got quite a few photographs that they loved. This is one of my favourites from the shoot. As always, it’s all about the light and churches have some of the most beautiful natural light.

Monday afternoon and I’m signing, wrapping and posting my books to the most beautiful people around the world. Today, these very books will be winging their way to Dallas, Michigan and Brooklyn in America, to Germany, Finland and even Norwich in England.

From my recent photoshoot for @ConnollyAgs to get images for his new album cover. I have to say I’m always pleased when a new client emails me and says he’d like a photoshoot in a pub. This pub is The Dukes of Highgate. A fantastic place, full of more country music things than I’d ever seen. A most enjoyable shoot and we got lots of photos that Ags liked. I don’t know which one he’ll use on the album cover, but this was one of my favourites.

And remember boys and girls: if you happen to be in a riverside pub watching the football tonight, it’s important that you’re really, really quiet as you leave at 3am, otherwise it’ll disturb the neighbours and some of them have a direct hotline to the police.

Dinner is served. Sitting outside at this very pleasant pub right now in the sunshine. They’re staying open for the England game which starts at 1am tomorrow morning, so they won’t be finished until at least 3. Goodness knows how many people will stay awake for that. Hope people make it worth their while. I’ll be fast asleep way before then.

I find it interesting that a few of my beautiful followers have replied to my posts saying it’s good to see me out ands about. I can promise you all that I have not stopped going out and about all over London. A couple of coppers educating me on the law is not going to stop me enjoying life or going anywhere I want. I’ll admit that I like to sit facing the pub and not with my back to it, so that I can see them coming, but they certainly won’t stop me. If you knew how many death threats I get daily from Muslims, (yes, my Instagram DMs are full of them since one of them did a video on there suggesting I was murdered) you’d be shocked, so a chat with the police about me not breaking the law, is of no relevance. I highly recommend everyone gets out in the lovely sunshine and goes to a pub. Just make sure you don’t ask for a seat outside. Cheers 🍻

Today’s photoshoot finished and time to start the download over a glass of wine. It’s the sort of day to be at a riverside pub in Chiswick, but I thought maybe I wouldn’t do that today. I don’t know why. So I’m here instead, at a non riverside pub somewhere in London.

Walking to this morning’s photoshoot and on my way, I was stopped in my tracks when I saw this. If this doesn’t entice you into this restaurant, I don’t know what will.

Ok, I realise my first post this morning was depressing and as the leader of the opposition, I realise that my job is to inspire and create happiness, so here is that post. I have just beaten my iPad at chess. Completely crushed him. He tried and failed and I won. Rejoice people.

Good morning. Now I’m here, ready for a photoshoot nearby this morning. On my way here, I got a bus where a lady who could barely walk got on and had to perch on the very corner of the priority seating as a woman has spread herself across it and completely ignored the woman trying to perch on an inch of seat next to her. I then sat on a tube train and a whole carriage was full, occupied by only a few people obviously coming from Heathrow airport, with bags on the priority seats, bags on every seat. Came out of the tube at King’s Cross and there was a young lady at the top of the stairs outside, homeless and visibly in a bad way. I’d put her life expectancy in months. Walking along the outside of St Pancras Station and a bloke is pissing in the street onto the pavement. Rubbish is everywhere. Anyway, it’s only just 9am on a Sunday morning. Time for a full English and to sit and wonder if there will be a leader of this country who will reverse this terminal decline.

Saturday night’s walk home. A most pleasant evening of live music in a London pub and now, a pleasant walk home, looking at the lovely, twinkly lights.

Saturday, 4th of July at a pub somewhere in London. Gentrified this place ain’t and I love that. A proper boozer with great people enjoying a drink, a laugh and the live reggae music. Cheers 🍻

I’m sitting here right now outside this London pub, listening to an Englishman, an American and a Russian discussing the world’s issues, whilst a reggae band are starting playing inside. Proof that when you come to a pub, the whole world comes together and can sort the problems of the world out over a beer or two, without violence or war. So, I think all the world’s leaders should come down to the pub, have a drink and let’s get things sorted. Cheers 🍻

You can often tell who the Americans are in pubs. There are subtle clues. Saturday evening, 4th July, sitting outside a pub somewhere in London, watching the world go by.

I’ve been slow posting about American Independence today as I still haven’t quite got over them kicking us out over the price of tea, but having been to America, well, all the main parts like California, Las Vegas and Florida and speaking to Americans on here, I know that there are a lot of absolutely wonderful Americans and in fairness, they have done rather well for themselves in the past 250 years. I realised I had a lack of photos of American flags, so here’s the favourite one I took of the Stars and Stripes on the side of the lunar lander that went to the moon. The only nation that has. They still haven’t realised that you don’t make a cup of tea by sticking it in the microwave to warm the water up, mind you, but give them time. Happy Independence Day America. Cheers 🍻

And now I’m here in Aladdin’s Cave, somewhere in London. If you like beautiful cars, then this is a treat for you. Aston Martin, Ferrari, and even Citroen.
