Medios ecuatorianos aseguran que la selección de Ecuador habría recibido amenazas presuntamente vinculadas a cárteles mexicanos en la previa del duelo ante México por los dieciseisavos de final de la Copa del Mundo. De acuerdo con esas versiones, este habría sido uno de los factores que afectó anímicamente al plantel y explicaría el bajo rendimiento mostrado durante el encuentro. Si la información se confirma, estaríamos hablando de un hecho gravísimo que trasciende por completo al fútbol.

Empiezo a dudar de la transparencia del mundial. Puede ser que México y Estados Unidos pagaron para avanzar de rondas. El ecuador vs México Está muy raro y sospechoso México y Estados Unidos no tienen el nivel que están mostrando en el mundial. Ojo con eso
