During the #Hyderabad visit, inaugurated and walked through the Advanced R&D Facility for FLUOROCHEMICALS at #CSIR-IICT. A rare world-class facility, testifying India’s capabilities in fluorochemical technologies, innovation and industrial applications.

Key takeaways: "Emphasised stronger partnership between agri innovation and agri industry to drive India's next phase of economic growth through a new genre of Agri #StartUps and Agri Entrepreneurs. India's agriculture sector continues to offer enormous untapped potential. During the last 12 years of the @NarendraModi regime, the country's priorities have expanded beyond crop improvement to developing technologies that convert agricultural waste and residues into reusable value-added products, creating new opportunities for farmers, industry and thereby also ensuring value addition to India's overall economic growth. Recent #CSIR technologies like producing compressed biogas from food and agricultural waste, and converting captured carbon dioxide into Dimethyl Ether, also exemplify India's growing commitment to clean energy, circular economy and the conversion of waste into valuable national resources. lnnovators need to increasingly align themselves with industry, StartUps, MSMEs and technology partners in order to accelerate commercialisation and sustainability”.
