Thank you @HMPDoncaster & all the prisoners who raised £730.22 on charity football game - staff v prisoners football academy ⚽️ This is really appreciated. We’re solely reliant on Trusts, grants & fundraising.There’s so many children with a parent in #prison in need of support.

HMP Doncaster is proud to recognise #NoSmokingDay. Four years ago, all @SercoGroup prisons became smoke free sites for prisoners, staff and visitors in an effort to promote better health and cut down on the harm caused by first and second-hand smoking.

One of the charities that we work with is the @Shannon_Trust which helps prisoners learn to read. Reading and writing are vital to help prisoners get the education and skills they need to make positive changes to their lives. #SercoAndProud

Today a group of 4 prisoners and 3 PE staff completed a 33-mile charity triathlon consisting of a 30-mile bike ride, a 2-mile run and a 1-mile row, all on exercise machines. This was done in remembrance of a prisoner’s cousin who sadly passed away from cancer at the age of 33. /1

At HMP Doncaster we take pride in our prison wing kiosks that gives prisoners the ability to organise their daily lives, such as selecting their meals, booking social visits, doctors’ appointments and timeslots for the gym. @UnilinkSW
