How I use Codex to build what I want (for beginners) I've made all of the vibe coding mistakes at this point after 100s of hours of addicted late nights tinkering and building stuff. I'm putting out this video to check it... is there anything missing in my vibe coding process?? How can i get BETTER?

OpenAI’s ChatGPT 5.6 with their most “generous usage limits to date”. 7th July. I called it a couple months ago, OpenAI always does this. They give you the world - pullback - repeat. We’re about to see the most intelligent models, with the most generous limits. Near unlimited. -They already give you resets to stack. -5.5 is still a beast after two months. -They actually listen to their users. -Codex App is actually good. Are we all just cancelling claude?

the former
I’m pleasantly surprised that I’m not hearing any LLM speak in political speeches. Are they just lagging by 5 years, or do they actually have principles

This is how to do it.
If you think codex sucks at design, try "use imagegen to re-imagine this design and implement that".

"YEAH Claude Design ONE SHOT it, can you tell?" an actual presentation by Anthropic 😭
Anthropic team: "More than 40% of code at Anthropic is already written by loops. Our target is 80% within 6-months. an agentic loop = plan → act → verify → repeat. It continues this cycle until the task is complete." in 30-minute talk, Anthropic team member gives one of the best breakdowns of the agentic loop. 3 phases: plan (read, grep, think) → act (write, edit, bash, MCP) → verify (run tests, build, read logs). Watch it today, then explore the entire workflow in the article below.

Oh so... they literally just didn't think of this. It wasn't a product choice i
This is a good feature request. We will take more feature requests like this one. The combination of {motivation, explanation, screenshot} forms a perfect prompt for Codex. Thank you.

think it's crazy to both put an expiration date on your customer's benefits and not tell them when it is

If you're not reading something DAILY that is genuinely pushing you forward, ask ChatGPT this: Find me one genuinely life-changing Substack I should follow. Make the recommendation personally relevant to me based on what you can infer from my interests, goals, work, personality, and current season of life. Do not give a generic list. Confirm that the Substack is still active, has published recently, and is not abandoned. - Prefer newsletters with consistent publishing, a strong archive, and a clear point of view. - Explain why this specific Substack is especially relevant to me. - Avoid hype, productivity bro content, and generic self-improvement fluff. - Include the best starting point if possible.

The presentation here is fantastic, Sonnet 5 makes absolutely NO sense
Anthropic released Sonnet 5 the other day and it left the world wondering... Why? Sonnet 5 is absurdly expensive and wastes tokens like a kid at chucky cheese IT'S MORE EXPENSIVE THAN FABLE... FABLE!! And it's not even that good of a model so why did Anthropic even release it? Well I think I figured it out

Anthropic NEEDED Fable to get banned. They can't serve it.
I've heard a lot of questions about Fable's availability on subscription plans. While it will come off subscriptions after July 7th, we aim to restore Fable as a standard part of our subscriptions as soon as capacity allows, as we mentioned in our original blog post.

Easily
If GPT-5.6 matches Fable 5 performance, but without the 50% limit 7 days restriction, it's over for Anthropic

omg who cares then the only people who could be excited about fable returning would be role players at this point
Claude Fable 5 will be available again globally tomorrow. After a series of productive conversations with the US government, we're redeploying the model with a new set of classifiers to target and block more cybersecurity tasks. In the near term, some routine tasks like coding and debugging will fall back to Opus 4.8. We’ll continue to refine these classifiers over the coming weeks to reduce false positives and better distinguish genuine misuse from legitimate requests. We’ve also begun drafting a consensus framework—with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other Glasswing partners—for assessing the severity of AI jailbreaks and how AI developers should respond to them. We invite other industry partners and model providers to join us in this effort. Finally, we’re scaling up our collaboration with the US government on model testing and safeguards. This will include pre-release access to models and safeguards for evaluation, information sharing on jailbreaks and misuse, and dedicated resources for joint research. Thank you to our users for your patience, and to our partners across the government, industry, and the research community who worked alongside us to make Fable 5 available again. Codex is still beyond broken... I'm slurping up this usage like never before
Codex usage limits will be fully reset again in the next hour and we will credit one additional reset into your bank for your own usage over the next 24 hours. We investigated reports that Codex usage was being consumed faster than expected. There wasn't one central issue, but a few smaller problems compounded for some users. Here's what we found and changed: - Actual usage: Auto-review had become more proactive, another change was triggering more subagent work, and background suggestions could run twice or retry too frequently after failures. We reverted the changes and fixed suggestion scheduling, duplicate generation, and retry behavior. This should reduce unnecessary background token consumption while preserving the work users explicitly request. - Usage reporting: Auto-review was incorrectly appearing as GPT‑5.4 usage, and failed or rate-limited requests were still shown as turns. Auto-review now appears as its own category, and only successful requests count toward the turn graphs. Rate-limited requests were never charged, but they were being displayed incorrectly. - Immediate relief: We reset usage limits while rolling out the fixes, then shipped hotfixes across the CLI, desktop app, and usage backend. - What to expect: New usage data should be clearer and actual consumption should be lower. Historical charts may still show auto-review under GPT‑5.4 because older turn data was not relabeled. Features that intentionally perform more work; such as /goal, subagents, and higher reasoning levels will still naturally use more capacity. All fixes are now deployed, and we've added more detailed monitoring so we can detect background-usage regressions sooner. We'll continue watching the results closely. Thank you for building and doing all sorts of things with Codex.
