Cultish: •Excessive devotion to an ideology, or set of beliefs. •Social pressure or emotional manipulation that discourages questioning. •Viewing outsiders as wrong. •Criticism is often met with personal attacks. Pretty much sums up the psychiatry cabal and it's cult followers on X. *Hat-tip: @benzosarebad

Same could be argued for "withdrawal", which Big Pharma and the pill-pushers conveniently rebranded as "discontinuation syndrome" to soften the blow. Funny how the outrage only kicks in when the words hit too close to the truth about their beloved interventions.

So @Drsikorav, you openly admit the drugs increase suicidal thoughts and behaviour. You do realise “behaviour” means actual suicide attempts, right? So you’re defending these pills because some patients simply failed to finish the job? Is that your position?
So, @PGtzsche1’s usual claim is that antidepressants double the risk of suicide. What has actually been shown is that they increase suicidal ideation and suicidal behavior, not deaths by suicide. But he makes a strange leap and simply says we are talking about “suicide.” Fine. But does he also say that ketamine reduces suicide, since it has been shown to reduce suicidal ideation? Or is this just a double standard?

Psychiatric Times latest: 'Top 10 Misleading Claims About Antidepressants.' They admit withdrawal happens but downplay it to just 3% 'severe' citing their favourite, outdated and flawed meta-analysis. You know you're over the target when they double-down with this batshit craziness. psychiatrictimes.com/view/th…

Five unusual syndromes that have been defined by psychiatry - worryingly, some are 'treatable' with brain pellets. Fregoli Syndrome: "An uncommon condition… where the individual holds the belief that different people are actually the same person, just with a change in appearance." Me: You spend your day yelling "IT’S YOU AGAIN, YOU SHAPE-SHIFTING BASTARD!" at the postman who just wants to deliver your parcel. Cotard Syndrome: "Also known as ‘walking corpse syndrome’… patients experience the illusion that they are dead and that their own existence has ceased." Me: "Doctor, I have no organs." "Fascinating. Still got to pay the bill though." Alien Hand Syndrome: "One of a person’s hands appears to take on a life of its own, acting independently." Me: God help Edward Scissorhands! Ekbom Syndrome: "A tactile hallucination where patients believe they are infested with parasites, often perceived as insects crawling under the skin." Me: Sigourney Weaver wouldn’t last five minutes. Alice in Wonderland Syndrome: "Characterized by a distortion in bodily, visual, auditory, tactile and spatio-temporal perception." Me: Your dinner plate is suddenly a football stadium and the tomatoes are doing the Mexican wave. These are all syndromes defined by psychiatry. Psychiatry’s greatest talent: taking batshit brain glitches, slapping a dead doctor’s name or a kids’ book title on them, and calling it an official syndrome so they can 'treat' them. Now we know where the chemical imbalance theory came from - probably a psychiatry field trip picking mushrooms. Full (Serious) article here: mixvale.com.br/2026/06/29/ra…

"The Planetary Health and Sustainability Committee". What in the name of fuckery is this?
In light of the Met Office ‘risk to life’ heat warning in some parts of the UK, Dr Daniel Harwood, Chair of RCPsych’s Planetary Health and Sustainability Committee, advises that individuals with mental health conditions and taking medications including antidepressants, mood stabilising or antipsychotic medications exercise special care, as some medications may heighten vulnerability to dehydration and heat-related illness. “I’d urge all people, but especially those with a mental illness, to make a concerted effort to stay cool and hydrated, use plenty of sun block and avoid going out during the hottest parts of the day. And if you feel physically unwell, please contact your pharmacy, mental health team or seek urgent medical advice.” Find RCPsych guidance here: rcpsych.ac.uk/docs/default-s… #heatwave

Over 20 psychiatrists, neurologists etc and they still couldn't see the iatrogenic damage staring them in the face. The shrinks will probably blame the 5 psychologists Alex saw.
I'm sorry to say this, but after all these years — from 2012 until now — I've seen over 20 psychiatrists, 5 neurologists, 5 psychologists, and countless other doctors because of severe adverse effects from psychiatric medications. None of them got the diagnosis right. My conditions were too rare, too unknown. Instead, they led me down the wrong paths, caused more harm with their treatments, and stole years of my time and hope. From my own experience, I no longer see psychiatry as a real science. When I carefully mapped and prompted into every LLM my full medical history — every drug, every symptom, the exact timeline — it all made sense. It correctly pointed to things like akathisia and fluoroquinolone toxicity. The hardest lesson? The best decision you can make is to never step into a psychiatrist’s office. Once you do, you stop being seen as a full human being. Your past, your words, your suffering — none of it matters anymore. Every complaint gets dismissed as “your illness” or labeled psychosomatic.

I'm almost certain this would help bring suicide figures down. No doubt there would be many influential figures against it.
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline got $238.6M in the MAHA Action Plan—designed to help curb psychiatric overprescribing & promote deprescribing. Yet 988 counselors don't routinely ask about medications during crisis calls. This MUST change. If we're addressing adverse drug effects that can cause self-harm, violence and suicide (including SSRIs), suicide prevention hotlines need to ROUTINELY ask callers about medications. @woodymatters @SecKennedy @DeptVetAffairs
