Our first podcast episode is finally live! I personally loved the casual chat after the presentation (From 46:05 onwards). Sorry about the audio—my mic didn't record, so I had to re-record my lines as best as I could remember them. And huge thanks to @LujieYang0 and @chris_j_paxton. Looking forward to seeing more research published on our Booster robots 😎
How did the robots at the Spring Festival Gala pull off parkour and backflips? Check out our Teaser Part 1. Featuring Lujie Yang @LujieYang0 with her presentation: From Math to Motion: Dynamics, AI and Robotics. Also huge thanks to @chris_j_paxton for collabing as well. Full episode coming soon.

“Many countries can choose not to build humanoid robots. China can’t.” Galbot CEO Wang He argues that humanoid robots are not just about AI leadership—they’re a necessity for China’s future. China already has over 310 million people aged 60 (around 22% of the population), while the working-age population is expected to keep shrinking over the coming decades. For China, humanoid robots aren’t simply the next consumer gadget. They’re increasingly viewed as critical infrastructure to help offset labor shortages in manufacturing, logistics, retail, healthcare, and eldercare.

that is correct
Staged video going viral. Robot did not “go rogue”. This policy is a fixed movement set that comes on g1 robots by default by setting it in “dance mode”.

Booster’s in-house goalkeeper algorithm looks solid, giving the robot a level of shot-stopping that feels close to a top-tier keeper like Courtois.

Seeing this made me think: a year from now, actual robots at AI events probably won’t feel novel anymore.
Tiny teaser: there will be actual robots

I once heard a CEO say in an interview that when someone truly feels their energy, resources, network, and ideas building up inside them, almost overflowing, they will eventually become an entrepreneur and start their own company. Lately, I’ve been feeling that. Especially when I’m driving. Ideas keep coming. My mind enters this strange, inspired state where everything feels connected. In those moments, I feel like there is something I want to BUILD. But when I calm down, I start questioning myself: Is this real energy, or am I overestimating myself? Is it judgment, or just ego? Am I mistaking the tailwinds of the times, the industry, and the platform I’m standing on for my own ability? Sometimes when things are going well, it’s easy to believe it’s all because of you. But maybe part of it is simply being in the right wave at the right time. Tagging @chris_j_paxton here what do you think 🤔

After building a 9-ton teleoperated robotic arm, they made a 20-meter-tall teleoperated mechanical leg to kick a Car.
A Chinese creator built a 9-ton robotic arm that can be teleoperated, then used it to slap a car into retirement.

Added a cute little icon in the bottom-left — it plays music I made and own. Tiny easter egg.
