Revolutionary Defeatism Does not Mean National Nihilism - Marxism Leninism 101 Mao never meant that "revolutionary defeatism" in terms expressed as total national nihilism meant agitating and working towards the dissolution of an entire country or people. Please show me a quote from Mao or any major Marxist Leninist historical figure arguing that proletarian patriotism is specific to people in colonized countries? The Chinese Communist Party insists they are in a primary stage of socialism. The DoTP and a primary stage of socialism are not mutually exclusive. In China's case they are one and the same. This is their system, to say they are not in Socialism is an egregious error. No AES projects has ever claimed to be beyond a DoTP, including the USSR or Mao's China.
