For the 1st time in 25 years not a single square mile of California is dry on the US Drought Monitor. Have to go back to December 2000 to find a similar situation. If you're 25 or younger you've always lived in a world where California has been entering or recovering from drought
WONDERFUL WATER YEAR
California is off to an incredible start this winter with all of our major cities reporting above normal rainfall since October 1st (our water year resets every 10/1). Los Angeles has essentially seen their entire annual rainfall in the last 3 months alone.
We are expecting another round of severe Level 3 storms this evening between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., which will feature heavy rain and strong, damaging winds.
