When I was a teenager we actually did stuff.
We climbed trees until our hands were raw, played cops and robbers all over the neighborhood, went fishing at the creek, hit the beach on the weekends, and walked to the ice cream shop with whatever spare change we could scrape together.
These days it feels like too many kids have completely lost that. No real sense of adventure, no principles, and it seems like basic decency and common sense are in short supply.
