What if a billionaire heiress dealt with her family troubles by abdicating and calling her patriarch a pussy through song...
Ave Mujica, a band girl show, giving me the rich girl angst i missed in RWBY is crazy

Such contrast w Tomori's backstory ep. No first-person view surrounded by love and warmth, no hugs, no chemistry. Instead we're locked in an empty theatre with the Weaver Of Lies and her 'truth'.
Sumimi bros... it's never been so over 😭

Episode 10 discourse already... I've got Thoughts about this episode.
While MyGO was a laser-straight emotional railgun, building momentum so that when it hit, it fuckin HIT, Ave Mujica is a mess. A deliberate, complex mess.
🧵
There were smiles, only where it felt wrong for anyone to smile. There was relief, love, energy, all anchored to this horrible sinking feeling. It wasn't just unsatisfying - it was unsettling. It wanted you to feel pulled in all directions.
That, to me, is excellent. Fuckin work of art. But I'm worried we might have entered narrative territories a majority of the audience isn't willing to engage with, regardless of execution.
It will inherently be unpopular compared to MyGO. But... idk. I see the vision.
