🚨AIRCREW LOCATES DOWNED AIRCRAFT, RESCUE ALL ON BOARD!
Last week, a Yuma Air Branch AS-350 aircrew responded to an aircraft in distress near Yuma, AZ. After the aircraft reported engine trouble and lost radar contact, AMO launched a helicopter and located the downed plane on a dirt road within minutes in the North Dome Valley.
Upon arrival and landing, Air Interdiction Agents and a Border Patrol agent from the Yuma Sector Border Patrol Tactical Unit assisted all three occupants, who were ambulatory and in good health. The aircrew coordinated with Yuma County Sheriff’s Office and Tri-Valley EMS, guiding responders through complex farm fields and irrigation networks to the scene.
