Laten we niet vergeten, de Russen komen niet met bloemen en cadeaus, maar met levensgevaarlijke wapens. Logisch dat deze dreigingen uitgeschakeld worden voordat ze kunnen toeslaan. Het is een lelijke shitshow. Putin had die rampzalige SMO nooit moeten beginnen.

Oekraïne heeft de rampzalige SMO van Putin nooit gewild. Dat deze vijandige soldaat op het slagveld wordt uitgeschakeld is dramatisch, maar past bij een oorlog. Elke uitgeschakelde soldaat van de tegenstander is er 1. Wat doen die Russische bezetters in godsnaam in Oekraïne? Tijd dat die gasten naar huis gaan en dat het vrede wordt.

Our tribal and violent instincts have been suppressed for centuries in the West, and we have built prosperous societies because of it, as tribalism can be very destructive. Our borders were strong, and tribal, alien people were far away. But nowadays, the borders are weak. Forms of ethnic tribalism will probably reemerge in the West.

Jij vindt dat de uitingen in Porto absurd waren, maar wat als veel kiezers ook zo denken? Ik tenminste wel. Dat opstaan tegen radicalisme gebeurt al meer dan 20 jaar. Denk aan Thom de Graaf die Anne Frank erbij haalde om Pim Fortuyn te normeren. Dat gaat jullie op den duur niet redden. Waarom gooien jullie het niet op de dialoog?
