I followed Ray from the 76 Olympics on. He was always from Maryland never heard any Carolina connection. Got to see him fight twice.

I am from North Carolina and grew up 10 miles from where his parents grew up. Believe it or not NY claim Michael Jordan. Cause he was born there😂 Ray Leonard is Maryland. That's where he grew up he was just born in NC. Maryland can have him😂😂 Great Fighter.

I can't tell you how many times I rode down that street to the gym. There was only one thing on my mind, to be the next Sugar Ray. I walked out of the gym for the last time, in 96', after losing in the Eastern Trials Qualifier for the 96' Olympics. 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾

I’m tired of people from North Carolina trying to claim Ray Leonard as one of theirs. Stick to basketball 🏀. You all don’t produce great fighters 🤣. “Ray Leonard Road” is in PG County. DC Area. My Carolina guys aren’t going to like this 😂. It’s all in fun🥊. Top 10 P4P 🐐.

Abdullah Mason got the win over Albert Bell. Wasn’t easy, but he comes through with the late stoppage. Bell wasn’t going to win on the cards no matter how good he did. When you fight the “house fighter” you almost have to beat your opponent up, or get knockdowns/knockout.

Oscar De La Hoya(Ryan Garcia Promoter) just said that he wants to make Ryan Garcia- Devin Haney 2. We know Garcia and the other powers that be want Conor Benn. It’s clear as day that Ryan Garcia doesn’t want to fight Devin Haney anymore, and will forever live off the success he had in his win turned no contest from their last meeting. This must see rematch probably won’t happen because of 1 man, and that’s Ryan Garcia. Case closed.
