WWE doesn't suck, it PEAKED. WrestleMania 17 and WrestleMania 40 are eerily similar. WM 17: - one of the BEST shows EVER! - considered the END of the Attitude Era. -end of the 4 year-long Austin-McMahon angle -WWE PEAKED and never reached that high again. WM 40: -also one of the best shows EVER! -may be the end of the Renaissance Era -end of the 4 year long Bloodline Angle -WWE PEAKED and never reached that high again. The long-term angles that defined the two BOOM PERIODS reached a CLIMAX. Austin turned heel and Cody Finished the story. Maybe the problem isn’t that WWE suddenly became bad afterward. Maybe sustaining a historic peak is almost impossible.

The most ideal scenario is Brock walking in as champion and Oba winning his first WWE title from him. It would mirror Brock's rise in 2002. -King of the Ring -Winning the WWE title at Summerslam That could theoretically still happen but it would no doubt be controversial.

I'd go with Sami winning via DQ or with some shenanigans. I'd say The Bloodline would be the most likely suspects. Punk saves Cody. Cody and Punk vs Jey and Jacob at Summerslam. I just think the build is too short for a Punk-Cody match right now.

If there were any doubts about Sami being champ, his 1st promo just killed it for me. No way someone is watching this and not see how he is the best character in wrestling today. His passive-aggressive style is absolutely hilarious, and his pettyness is unmatched. A player!

When I read the spoilers about the WWE title being defended on Raw, I was also quite surprised. In reality, the reason probably is they want to stack a big Chicago show as much as possible. In Kayfabe, they actually explained it pretty well. Pearce is now in charge of Smackdown and Raw, and he can do whatever he wants. This sets up 2 things for me: 1. Something big is gonna happen. Either a title change, a big return, or a route where a Raw superstar finds his way into Sami Zayn's or Cody's path that sets up a big match at SNME or SS. 2. With Aldis possibly headed back to the ring, they might be testing if Adam Pearce as a sole authority figure could work. It would open up some intriguing possibilities regarding wrestlers crossing brands more often. In reality, there's been talks of declining ticket sales, so this is an excellent way to give reason to stack the show in Kayfabe. Whatever happens, RAW is undeniably must-watch now.

Might as well rename the team Atlanta Nightmare. It worked for Cody. 🤷

People out here arguing about WWE stipulations like it's LEGALLY BINDING. John Cena won the Rumble in 2008 and got his match at No Way Out instead of WrestleMania. They always bend the rules whenever it's convenient. They've been doing it for decades.

Here's the thing though, even if there is, it's not gonna ruin WWE like it did with AEW. Punk's been out like 3 months and you barely notice it. Sorry sickos but it ain't gonna be as satisfying as you hope it would be. 🤷
