We had fun last week milling this topographic map of Peekskill. Maple is so nice to machine!

As homage to our new location in Peekskill, NY, we milled a topo map of the region on the Bantam Tools Desktop PCB Milling Machine. We cut into locally sourced maple using a 1/8" flat end mill for the roughing and a 1/8" ball end mill for the finishing pass. We have arrived! #CNC

No more printer for UV solder mask! 100% on mill. Better quality. Much faster!
<$5 in mods to mill software changes. Now the mask is nice & even, not blotchy with crumbly edges.
@bantamtools I just upgraded your mill, how about we make it so everyone can get access to this?

Especially with FDM printers on Kickstarter, it's challenging to attempt an apples to apples comparison and to truly get a sense of things like dimensional accuracy and alignment through a campaign page.
