We are re-publishing our best episodes and series from the archives. Here’s our “Spirit of 2014” series covering, in detail, the effects the Euromaidan had on the Russian parts of the Ukraine, the events in Crimea, the “Russian Spring” and the War in the Donbass, including its immediate aftermath. It’s freely available to everyone. Few remember those events in detail; they are covered in a thick veil of propaganda and mythology (from all sides). We scoured long-forgotten blogs, defunct news websites, talked to participants and checked out many other archival sources, all with one goal: reconstructing the history of those events — the Spirit of 2014! 64,000 immigrants in 1 year. That's 3.5% of Latvia's entire population in a country of just 1.8 million. This is equivalent to: ~12 million immigrants for US ~2.4 million immigrants for UK In 1 year! ONE FUCKIN YEAR, MATE! The ancient Latvian nation is on the verge of extinction! Not even Canada has seen an immigration level of 3.5% a year! Largest numbers come from Muslim countries and India. Madness! We Europeans have to look out for one another. Help us out! Spread the word!

In the meantime, largely unnoticed, there has been renewed combat in the Central African Republic. A week ago, rebels, mostly consisting of Sudanese and Chadian mercenaries, attacked the northern border town of Am Dafok. Today, the town has been fully recaptured by the CAR Armed Forces and local pro-government militias, with help from Russian military specialists.

The Russian Ministry of Defence has offered to hand over the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers in Konstantinovka; to this end, the AFU should stop shelling the city for six hours on July 6th (12pm-6pm). They have until noon tomorrow to decide if they agree.
