Who ever bought this account is incapable of doing basic research. Some fighters on the undercard are solid prospects who’ve never fought on a big MMA show with great records. You’d make 12/12 in UFC. Only 12k if you don’t win. 40k is far more.

Easy to have a minimum of $40,000 when each fighter on the card is a former UFC Athlete and well known, many who were champions or title contenders. Nate Diaz,Ronda Rousey,Junior Dos Santos,Francis Ngannou. In fact a $40,000 minimum for these guys is laughable. Try giving 40k to a newcomer with a record of 6-4 who comes in short notice and convinced 5 family members to attend and pulled in 66 PPV from his home town. At least UFC will give this guy $12k show and $12k win, all year round.

This is why I've been saying I don't think this is a one off event. Rousey's been talking about creating another path and competing with the UFC at an industry level the entire press conference. If it fails that's a different conversation, but it's looking pretty good right now.

The great @BrianSuttererMD just told me he believes Ulberg tore his ACL. I asked how he knew: “The shin popped forward and then the calf rippling you saw was it shifting back into place.“ He is working on a breakdown video right now. Just an unbelievable turn of events.

Love it. Reminds me of when Lewis got his title shot with Cormier to save UFC 230 on about a month's notice as well after beating Volkov last second. Should be a great fight.

Josh Hokit fought an amazing fight and earned massive respect. Tons of new fans as well. That has nothing to do with his gimmick. What kind of trash talk does Holloway, Gaethje have? Giant stars. Fight like that & we'll love it. His gimmick is cringe still. Try something else.
