Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your promise in Proverbs 19:17. Help me to have compassion on the poor and needy, knowing that when I show them pity and give generously, I am lending to You—and that You will repay.

Today’s Proverb “When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths: To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.” Proverbs 2:10-17 There are two chief antagonists in the book of Proverbs. The evil man and the strange woman are both manipulative and destructive. Without the gifts of wisdom, you will fall prey to these wicked individuals who seek to draw you in. Knowledge, discretion, and understanding are the gifts that wisdom gives to those who possess it. These are indispensable to avoiding the traps set by the evil man and the strange woman.

📖Proverbs 10: 10 "...And a babbling fool will come to ruin." (NASB)📖Proverbs 10: 19 "Sin is not ended by multiplying words..." (NIV) Leftists strategize by babbling endlessly and interrupting people who are balanced and factual. An instant correction is flipped to a new topic.

31 Scriptures About the Power of Your Words Proverbs 12:18 The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Proverbs 13:3 The one who guards his mouth preserves his life; the one who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 21:23 Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut, and you will stay out of trouble. Proverbs 29:20 Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. Matthew 12:36 But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. Matthew 12:37 The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you. Matthew 15:11 It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth. Matthew 15:18 But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. Ephesians 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. James 1:26 If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. James 3:3-6 The tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself. James 3:10 And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!  1 Peter 3:10 If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.
