In fact I was attending the NO mass for 25 years. And I've seen far too many sacrileges, the Host laying on the floor, while the priest didn't even care to pick our Lord up for a minute or so, because he was too busy giving the Communion to the people in the line. I was forced into receiving the Communion in the hand, after I was kneeling for 15 seconds asking to receive on the tongue and the priest denied.
I've heard far too many obvious errors from the pulpit, received far too many times the Holy Communion from the hands of the laity.
It was enough for me. I heard that there exist so called unicorn-reverent NO masses, but I haven't seen too many of them in my life. Maybe, I had a bad luck.
And I'm not judging anyone, apart from the situations I've personally witnessed with huge grief. I'm just saying that there is a huge crisis in the Church, and that's why I choose to go to the place where our Lord is treated with love, reverence and dignity. I don't have infinite dignity, but our Lord has.
