Neymar became a millionaire at 12. World's changed. The biggest difference is that only half of our children in sports are playing football, compared to over 70% in Argentina.

We celebrate Yoruba indigenous rap every day, so why are we sleeping on our own? ‘GTapzy’ is putting Ngas on the map with pure talent. Jos people, let's value our language, our culture, and our artists before the world does.

2026 Patriot Games Announced: America’s Toughest Young Athletes From Every State, Territory, and Tribal Nation Will Battle for Glory on the National Stage The 2026 Patriot Games will bring together exceptional young Americans from every state, territory, and Tribal Nation to compete in challenges that test strength, speed, resilience, teamwork, and leadership. This is the real deal — a premier national athletic competition for high school athletes ages 14 to 17, created as a centerpiece of America’s 250th anniversary celebrations under the Freedom 250 initiative. It’s not a feel-good exhibition or another watered-down youth event. It’s a serious showcase of the next generation’s best: kids who represent their home states and tribal nations, pushing themselves through demanding physical and mental challenges designed to reveal true character. Athletes will begin arriving August 7–8, 2026. The main competitions run August 9–11, with a televised grand finale on August 13. Over those days, competitors will face a series of high-intensity events built to test strength, endurance, agility, teamwork, resilience, leadership, and raw perseverance. The format mixes individual performance with team-based trials, forcing athletes to dig deep both physically and mentally while representing something bigger than themselves. Who can compete and how it works: Only legal U.S. citizens who are residents of a state, territory, or Tribal Nation are eligible. Athletes must be at least 14 by June 1, 2026, and no older than 17 on December 31, 2026. Male and female divisions are strictly separated by biological sex — no men in the girls’ competition. Selected athletes don’t just show up and compete. They get an all-expenses-paid trip, including travel and lodging for themselves and one chaperone. That means kids from every corner of the country — big cities, small towns, reservations, and territories — get the same shot at the national spotlight. The top male and female champions will split a $250,000 scholarship prize pool, giving real financial support to help them build their futures. This isn’t symbolic. It’s tangible reward for excellence. The reality behind the games While previous administrations and organizations spent years turning youth sports and leadership programs into vehicles for ideology, confusion, and lowered standards, the Patriot Games are doing the opposite. They’re built on the old-fashioned American idea that competition reveals character, that hard work and talent should be rewarded, and that representing your state or tribal nation with pride is something to celebrate — not apologize for. There are no participation trophies here. No safe spaces. No rewriting of basic biology. Just young Americans testing themselves against the best from across the country in events that demand grit, intelligence under pressure, and the ability to work with others when it counts. This is how you properly mark 250 years of the United States: by investing in the next generation the right way. Not with more lectures or government programs that treat kids like victims, but by giving them a real arena to prove what they’re made of. The challenges aren’t just about athletic ability — they’re designed to highlight the values that built this country in the first place: determination, resilience, leadership, and the refusal to quit when things get hard. Why this matters now America’s 250th birthday isn’t just about looking backward at what previous generations accomplished. It’s about showing that the same spirit is alive in the kids coming up today. The Patriot Games put that on display in the most direct way possible — through competition that can’t be faked. Whether it’s a kid from a small town in the Midwest, a reservation in the West, or a territory thousands of miles away, every participant gets the same shot. They’ll leave with more than memories. They’ll leave with the knowledge that they stood on a national stage and gave everything they had. Applications are open now at freedom250.org. If you know a tough, driven young athlete who belongs on that stage, this is their moment. The deadline is approaching fast in some categories, so don’t wait. The 2026 Patriot Games aren’t just another event on the America 250 calendar. They’re a declaration that the next generation is being raised to compete, to lead, and to win — the American way. Strength, speed, resilience, teamwork, and leadership aren’t just words here. They’re the standard. Let the games begin. freedom250.org/patriot-games

💔SHOCKING: SANJU SAMSON DROPPED from India’s T20I squad for Zimbabwe! The man who was India’s T20 World Cup hero — clutch knocks in knockouts, Player of the Tournament vibes, carried us to glory... now sitting at home while we tour Zimbabwe? From "we back him" to "see you later" in just a few matches. Sanju scored crucial runs, smashed big innings under pressure, and proved his worth when it mattered most. And this is the reward? Prabhsimran in, Samson out? Team management, explain this one properly. Talent like this doesn’t grow on trees.

It breaks my heart. Last year, we worked on a project spotlighting talent across all 36 states. The talent is there, but the visibility isn't simply because they don't live in Lagos.
Lack of structure in the Nigerian music industry is limiting what Afrobeats could actually be, and what our artistes should achieve. If not that Nigeria as a whole is useless, we should be having arguments across cities about who our rookie of the year is. Instead, any talent with even a little bit of promise has to move to Lagos so they don’t die irrelevant.

“To respond in the most beautiful way possible, on the field. In the face of controversies, merit, talent, and team spirit remain the only true victories.” That is exactly what Flo Balogun and Team USA have done: Staying composed for 30 mins followed by incredibly sportsmanlike rhetoric in the aftermath of an unjustified call. To punish this team and players under the perception of impropriety is just as unfair as the protocols that were taken on the field that led to the red card to begin with.
