In other words, more Call of Duty, Gears, Halo, Forza. Screw a Marvels Blade, Dishonored 3, State of Decay, Psychonauts 3, Brutal Legends 2, or a full scale AAA Hellblade. And you're going to kill off physical media. Everybody just go to Steam/PC at this point

Carnival hunt is a gem of a game and I really suggest you try this game if you havent yet. The playtest is free on steam and it's only like 13GBs

All it took for PlayStation to go to complete sh!t was a switch in leadership. For that reason I fear not even Steam is safe since Gabe Newell isn't immortal.

Because you own the data when you buy from Steam or GOG. You can save the games directly to your hard drive and delete the launcher and store.
You cannot do the same with Playstation
