I'm convinced critical thinking is an alien concept to RW Hindus. They keep parroting this brain dead argument to fool gullible Hindus into thinking demographics and human rights are somehow linked.
Population growth and persecution aren't the same thing. Population changes because of fertility rates, age structure, migration and life expectancy. Muslims in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh have historically had higher fertility rates than Hindus, so it's only natural for their populations to grow faster.
Instead of looking only at percentages, look at the actual number of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Compared with a decade or two ago, their population has grown significantly.
If Hindus in India became a minority tomorrow, would that automatically prove Muslims had persecuted them while they were still a minority? Obviously not. It would simply reflect demographic factors.
Persecution is measured by discriminatory laws such as the Waqf law, CAA and NRC, anti conversion laws, targeted violence such as mob lynchings and cow vigilantism, and systematic oppression such as fake encounters, custodial deaths and the bulldozing of Muslim properties.
