10 Rules for Better Education:
1) Restore God to the classroom;
Start each day with a prayer
Teach Judeo-Christian history
2) Teach in a natural environment;
Classrooms either literally be on workings farms or similar real world busineeses that have a healthy outdoor environment and plenty of opportunities for practical lessons.
3) All lessons should be practical;
Teach math by counting eggs, finding equivalent value by comparing different types of product (cow vs eggs, etc)
Teach physics by fixing things, like a broken fence
Teach reading and writing with practical examples first, like signage and instructions, then expand to more artistic expressions of the medium
Teach drawing as an empirical skill in the context of carpentry, architecture, and engineering
4) No DEI at any level for any reason
5) History must be taught alongside civics and must never misrepresent the past
6) Grading must reflect mastery, not merely passage. A student advances only once material is genuinely understood, not once a minimum threshold has been cleared to satisfy an administrative requirement.
7) There must be no financial incentives to artificially inflate performance statistics
8) No federal money at all for schools. They should be funded at the state level only.
9) School should be voluntary, and should not last longer than necessary;
Shorter school days
Fewer days of school before graduation for basic levels
10) No expectation of equal accomplishment;
Students advance to their limit and "graduate" rather holding all students to the same standard.
