Global private pensions: Legacy retirement systems fail international workers. If builders treat Solana as its own economy, the user base is already large enough to launch a union-style fund. 2. Decentralized insurance & annuities: Huge potential in taking fixed-rate lending further into ultra-long-duration savings products, which are incredibly popular in places like Hong Kong and Taiwan. 3. One-click cross-chain yield funnels: Massive idle capital sits on Tron, BNB, and EVM. Builders need to create a frictionless way to redirect those assets straight into Solana. 4. Direct yield access to EVM DeFi: Solana’s UX is too good to leave, but EVM ecosystems often run crazy, highly incentivized yield farms. 5. Institutional-scale stableswaps: Building platforms capable of instant execution via DEXs for retail, while handling large OTC-sized blocks with built-in delays. 3️⃣ What’s the number one piece of advice you’d give to someone starting from zero? Pick a real pain point that exists beyond crypto and choose one that is meaningful to you.

You can now sign in with Google or email, deposit with a bank card through Meld, and even deposit USDC on Solana without needing SOL in your wallet since the gas fees are sponsored. What I found most interesting is the new cross-chain flow. You can move ETH, USDC, or USDT from chains like Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, and BNB Chain directly into Perena without jumping through a bunch of extra steps. The onboarding has also been redesigned to better guide new users, EVM DeFi users, and people coming from centralized exchanges.
