● The targeting today by snipers of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia of the child Ibrahim Jalal Amin Ahmed,13, as he returned from school with his sister in Taiz city constitutes a fully realized crime, clearly revealing the nature of this militia that views the innocence of childhood as a legitimate target within its bank of objectives, in an unprecedented moral and humanitarian decline
● This heinous crime is a direct extension of the bloody doctrine followed by the Houthi militia since its coup, based on targeting civilians in Taiz, including women and children, in an attempt to subjugate a city that has remained defiant against its project, in flagrant violation of all international laws and norms
● The blood of this child is a new witness to the nature of this project with which coexistence is impossible, for it is fundamentally based on violence and intimidation, feeding on the targeting of innocent civilians, spreading terror in the heart of society, and turning people's daily lives into an open arena for gratuitous death
● We call upon human rights organizations and activists to take serious and effective action to condemn this crime, expose the militia's practices, document its violations, pursue its leaders and networks before international justice, and dry up the sources of support that enable it to continue committing such crimes whose innocent civilian victims are the casualties
