🚨 Claude Sonnet 5 just landed on Amazon Bedrock and Claude Platform on @awscloud. @AnthropicAI's most capable Sonnet model yet. We're talking advanced intelligence for coding, agents, and professional work. Available now.
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5, our most agentic Sonnet yet. It makes plans, uses tools like browsers and terminals, and runs autonomously at a level that just a few months ago required larger and more expensive models.

Introducing the next iteration of the @zoox robotaxi. ⬇️ After 500,000 rides, the robotaxi has been improved through real rider feedback. What's new: a more comfortable cabin, a brighter touchscreen and improved charging pad, a refreshed interior, and new exterior cues that make it even easier to distinguish the robotaxi’s front from its rear. The vehicle still has no steering wheel, no pedals, and drives in both directions. Now it's moving into large-scale production.

⚡ How fast is AI really transforming business? @awscloud CEO @mattsgarman said it best: this isn't something we have 20 years to get ready for—it's 20 months. In his conversation with @CaseyNewton on @platformer, he breaks down why AI is moving faster than any tech shift before it and why every industry is on the clock. 🎙️ Full interview available wherever you get your podcasts.

A great meeting with Mr. Andy Jassy. I welcome Amazon's record $48 billion investment in India. This will create new opportunities for our youth. At the same time, it shows the growing interest across the world to invest in India! @amazon
Really enjoyed my meeting with Prime Minister @narendramodi about what’s ahead for Amazon in India. We’ve been serving customers, sellers, developers, startups, and enterprises in India for more than a decade and just getting started. Shared that we’re investing $48 billion over the coming five years, including $21 billion in AI and cloud infrastructure. By 2030, we plan to support 3.8 million jobs, enable $80 billion in ecomm exports, and bring benefits of AI to 15 million small businesses and 4 million government school students. Excited about what’s ahead. Still early days for what we can build. aboutamazon.in/news/company-…

One of the things I find most interesting about the AI jobs conversation is that we’re talking about disappearing roles at the same time more software developers are being hired than ever before. The job is changing. The demand isn’t. Enjoyed the conversation with @CaseyNewton on @platformer. Full interview here: youtube.com/watch?v=0ii_Fl9R…

Take a look inside the electric van that could deliver your Prime Day orders next week. Here's what's under the hood. ⬇️ Built from scratch with @Rivian, these state-of-the-art delivery vans are packed with custom safety, navigation, and design features built to make deliveries safer and more efficient. The tech inside includes 360° camera detection, sensor-based emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, collision warnings, and more. The conversation with customers has changed. A year ago it was about what’s possible with AI. Today it’s about deployment, security, context, and getting complex work done. That’s what @SwamiSivasubram and the team focused on at #AWSSummitNY today with AWS Continuum, AWS Context, Amazon Quick, and more. Recap of today’s news in the thread below.
There’s been a seismic shift as companies have started to move from talking about agents to putting them to work. Here are some of the insights and launches I shared at @awscloud New York Summit that will help teams run agents effectively and create momentum across global organizations. AWS Context is our newest service that automatically builds a self-learning knowledge graph based on your organization’s existing data. Without context, agents are more likely to confidently give you the wrong recommendations. As agents interact with Context, it learns which sources produce correct results, which paths get used, and which business rules matter, improving over time ➡️ aboutamazon.com/news/aws/aws…
